House Committee Subpoenas AG Pam Bondi Over Epstein Case
The House Oversight Committee, has officially subpoenaed Attorney General Pam Bondi to testify on the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) management of the Jeffrey Epstein case. This comes after the Democrats and Republicans on Capitol Hill have accused the DOJ of a cover-up and mismanagement after millions of documents were released under the Epstein Files Transparency Act. The department has been accused of not protecting victim identities while protecting non-victims. The agency has called the subpoena "completely unnecessary," citing that lawmakers were given access to unredacted files, but Attorney General Pam Bondi is set to testify on April 14. The testimony comes after last month’s Clinton spectacle as Bill and Hillary Clinton testified before the committee.
